The wind was whippin' up,
the rain came roarin' down,
news about the storm was blowin' through the town,
no use to run and hide,
nor cover up your head,
you can't escape HIS wrath or so the prophets said.
One taken from the field,
one left alone to stay
all souls laid bare whence comes the judgement day.
